They always travel in groups, men only. One hardly ever sees their faces, only their eyes, unless they’re wearing sunglasses. Their heads are covered with skullcaps or baseball caps, and they wear casual clothing. They are heavily armed with guns and other weapons. They move quickly in gangs, pushing people to the ground, manhandling children, women, and even senators. Their actions are always hostile; one never sees these men do anything kind to anyone. They show disregard for laws, decency, compassion, and humanity.
They are ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), and they are world-renowned for their cruelty. They are feared by almost everyone (including me) and equally disliked by the masses. And yet, I have to pay their salaries and benefits so they can terrorize their fellow Americans.
They try to be completely anonymous, like nonentities, but behind their armament and masks, they are human beings—misguided ones in my book. The one whose inhumanity has been publicly exposed is Jonathan E. Ross, the agent who murdered/executed Renée Good, a mother, wife, and concerned citizen, in cold blood. Ross is a veteran who served in the Iraq War, loves guns, and is a gun expert. He has served for two decades in the United States Border Patrol and is an ardent follower of the MAGA movement. He attends a fundamentalist church, is married to an immigrant, and has children.
He could be the poster child for all ICE agents.
Who are these people? Let’s start with bullies (as is DT). Bullies have deep insecurities. Mentally, they perceive themselves as weak, so they mask their insecurities by being tough guys and traveling in groups because being alone feeds into their insecurities. Insecure folks have a pecking order; they need victims to demonstrate how tough they are. ICE agents have primarily targeted brown-skinned people as their major victims because many Hispanics are easy to pick out, often speak with an accent, are poor, hold low-income jobs, don’t have lawyers, and—because of costs and the complicated process—haven’t applied for amnesty or citizenship. Even citizens who are educated and hold down good jobs are picked on because their skin is brown.
Insecure males love power. (See our self-appointed dictator.) ICE has lured thousands of unemployed or underemployed, insecure men with high salaries and benefits, almost unlimited power, and sophisticated weaponry. These agents have a total disregard for all laws and aren’t held responsible for behaviors that would send us to prison.
What power! They can do whatever they want and obviously enjoy being cruel to anyone they please, and they are hardly ever being punished.
If these ICE agents had a conscience, they would have to totally disregard it. Anyone with a moral compass would never sign up to act like wild, out-of-control, rabid animals.
This behavior has to carry over to their families and friends. I strongly suspect domestic violence and child abuse is a part of their personal lives because one doesn’t turn a switch from being meaner than a junkyard dog one minute to being Mr. Nice Guy the next.
Many of these agents lead conflicted lives, which inevitably lead to all kinds of abuses. Drug abuse probably runs rampant. They can mask their insecurities by staying numb.
I suspect almost all of them are Christian Nationalists, a badly misguided group that encourages such behavior as being a true believer and a hero in their kingdom of garbage.
I am very happy I don’t know an ICE agent.

I do not know if I know any of them since they hide behind their masks, glasses and hats. But we know they are the weak, insecure, and marginally intelligent males in our society. Exactly like Trump– limited intelligence, ALWAYS been a bully to make up for his insecurities, narcissistic and dangerous. I call the whole bunch maggots—and they are EXACTLY that. They are squirming, slimy creatures who are eating away democracy and Christianity from the inside out. At a rapid rate, unless and until we find the way to get rid of them. Help us God. Now
